Along with her fascination with human nature, cultural and relevant issues are meaningful sources of inspiration. Immediately after the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010 she traveled to Louisiana to document the tragedy and the impact on the lives of locals. Her images from this trip were featured in Coco Eco Magazine.
To date Jen has self-published two books. One showcases an honest, visual representation of the transgender community entitled "Transformational Project". The second, "12428", is an architectural portrait of Ellenville, NY.
Jen was recognized for her photographic talents in Photo District News' 2010 Faces Contest.
During 2010 her work was showcased and over-sized prints were displayed on the walls at LA advertising agency TBWA/Chiat/Day.
In 2010, Jen had her debut as a Director for a Jesse Thomas music video. Her most recent assignments include stills of Jennifer Hudson & Tim Gunn for Weight Watchers as well as stills and video of the band, Snow Patrol.
